This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how jiligam ("jiligam", "we", "us", "our") collects, processes, stores, and protects the personal information of users ("Player", "you", "your") who access or use the jiligam website at jiligam.org and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Policy is issued in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, as enforced by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

6.1 jiligam does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6.2 jiligam may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients, strictly on a need-to-know basis and subject to appropriate data protection safeguards:

• KYC and identity verification providers: To verify your identity and age in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Payment processors: GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other payment service providers, to process your financial transactions.
• AML and fraud screening services: To screen transactions and player activity against sanctions lists and fraud databases.
• IT and platform service providers: Cloud hosting, data storage, and cybersecurity providers who process data on jiligam's behalf under written agreements.
• Regulatory and law enforcement authorities: PAGCOR, the National Privacy Commission, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and other Philippine government bodies where required by law or court order.
• Professional advisers: Legal counsel, auditors, and accountants, subject to professional confidentiality obligations.

6.3 In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of jiligam's business assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections described in this Policy.

7.1 jiligam uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on the Platform. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognise you, remember your preferences, and analyse how the Platform is used.

7.2 jiligam uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function correctly, including session management and security features. These cannot be disabled.
• Preference cookies: Store your language, display, and notification preferences to personalise your jiligam experience.
• Analytics cookies: Collect anonymised data about how players navigate the Platform, helping jiligam identify areas for improvement.

7.3 You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the jiligam Platform.

8.1 jiligam retains your personal data for as long as your account remains active and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law and regulatory obligations. Specifically:

• Account and identity data is retained for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with PAGCOR and AMLC record-keeping requirements.
• Transaction records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction.
• Support communications are retained for three (3) years from the date of the interaction.
• Marketing consent records are retained until you withdraw consent or for three (3) years from the last interaction, whichever is earlier.

8.2 Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, jiligam will securely delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with its data disposal procedures.

9.1 jiligam implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:

• 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit;
• Encryption of sensitive data at rest;
• Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only;
• Regular security audits and penetration testing;
• Intrusion detection and prevention systems;
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) for account access.

9.2 In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, jiligam will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected players in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC Circular 16-03.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by jiligam:

The jiligam Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and older. jiligam does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If jiligam becomes aware that personal data has been collected from an underage individual, it will immediately suspend the associated account and delete the data in question. The jiligam Platform may contain references to third-party services such as payment processors. jiligam is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with in connection with your use of jiligam.

jiligam reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered players via email notification or a prominent notice on the Platform prior to the changes taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the jiligam Platform following the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy .
